ARROW Books: A Reading Resource to Open Worlds

These books are designed to help the patients at Dustin’s Paw better understand abstract concepts such as “in and out” or “on and off”. The books use the therapy dogs at Dustin’s Paw, Prairie and Ovelle, as figures to demonstrate these concepts with props from the clinic. A sign language component has been added to that the books can be used with a wider range of children.

These books were created by Claire Jussel for her Girl Scout Gold Award 2015 that focuses on service and giving back to organizations in the community.
